SCHOOL STARTS AT 8:50AM, TJ'S DOORS WILL OPEN AT 8:20AM (UNLESS YOU ARE ENROLLED IN BEFORE-SCHOOL CARE THROUGH THE YMCA). WE START DISMISSAL AT 3:50PM.
TJMS ACTIVITY BUS: TJ ACTIVITY BUS WILL START ON TUESDAY, SEPT. 8, 2026. TJ has two after-school Activity Buses for students needing to stay after school for sports or other activities. The 1st Activity Bus arrives at TJ at 5:00pm (departs at 5:15pm) and the 2nd Activity Bus arrives at 6:00pm (departs at 6:15pm). If your student plans to ride the Activity Bus, they must sign up at the office window EVERY DAY by 1:00pm. There will be no exceptions if they forget. The Activity Bus runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
There is NO Activity Bus on Fridays.

Anyone interested in participating in Girls' on the run needs to get a flyer from the PE wall hanger. If you have questions, ask Coach Gorman, Coach Hile, or Coach Markway.
Speech & Debate - Returning team members will have the option to meet Wed, Sept 9 until 5:00 in room 709. Please check your email. New members will start on Monday Sept. 21 after school until 5:00pm in room 709.
Art Club fliers are outside of room 161. Art Club begins Thursday, Sept. 9th at 7:30am in room 161.
If you are interested in joining the Student Council, the time to turn in applications is slowly running out! Applications must be submitted to Mr. L in room 807 by Tuesday, September 15th. Be sure you get them in!!! If you submitted an application, check your email after that date to see if you were accepted and next steps!

Guitar lessons meets Wednesday, September 9th. You do not need to bring your guitars yet. The first meeting will be to discuss logistics and expectations. You can get a sign up sheet from Mr. Reimund in Room 600.
TJ Book Club meets today after school until 5:30pm in the library. If you need to ride the activity bus, you need to sign up for the 5:00 bus.
Tabletop Gaming Clubs will meet Thursday, Sept. 10th at 7:30am in room 813.
FCA will meet on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 8:15am in the gym.
ASL club will be for anyone wanting to learn more about the American Sign Language community and learn basic/beginning signs. As the year progresses we will learn how to hold conversations and sign simple songs. You will need signed parent permission in order to participate and they will need to fill out the google form (using the QR code) on the ASL Club flyer.
Our club will meet Tuesdays 4:15-5:15 in Mrs. Neighbors' classroom (608) and begin on Tuesday, September 15th.
Mandatory parent meeting for Archery will be Thurs. 9/17 at 6:30pm in the TJ cafeteria. Fliers are available from your PE teacher.
SPORTS: CONGRATULATIONS to our Cross Country Team for taking 1st place at Mexico Military Academy yesterday.
7th and 8th grade girls wanting to participate in girls basketball this year, there will be a meeting Thursday morning, in the cafeteria after announcements.
6th graders interested in basketball, CCHS is having a Basketball Skills Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 12th from 10:30-12:00pm. You can get a flier from your PE teacher.
